About Duct Tape Engineering

Julia Kenyon has over 20 years of experience with digital media.

As a technical product manager, she has defined products for both broadcast and streaming platforms.

As a senior technical lead, she has collaborated with members of individual companies and consortia on specifications, including serving as technical editor.

She has designed and built transport streams for testing satellite, terrestrial, and cable receivers and DVRs. She also designed and authored test files and procedures for DECE/Ultraviolet.

Julia earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Harvey Mudd College.
